To delete columns or rows in a table

1. Click inside a table cell in the column or row that you want to delete.

   Hold down SHIFT and click inside another cell to select those two cells and all the cells between them.

2. To delete rows, select Delete Rows on the Table toolbar. To delete columns, select Delete Columns on the Table toolbar.
   NoteRows and columns that contain a portion of a data link cannot be deleted.
3. Press ESC to remove selection.

 Toolbar: Table

 Shortcut menu: Select and right-click a cell or range of cells. Click Columns Delete, or Rows Delete.
