Interior Design and Exterior Presentation

To create renderings for visualizing interior designs, you might want to add furniture and fixtures to the model. Often in architectural models, these are represented by 2D AutoCAD blocks. This tutorial shows two ways to add furniture to a scene:

The example in this tutorial is a model of a school library. Once you have populated the library with furniture, the tutorial goes on to show how you can use a radiosity solution as a preliminary to rendering, to obtain more accurate and realistic images.

Radiosity solution creates a realistic visualization.

As a bonus step, the tutorial also shows how to use the Camera Correction modifier, which changes 1-point perspective to 2-point perspective. This modifier can correct perspective when the camera viewing a building is tilted up or down.

You will also learn how to generate a radiosity solution, and how to add 3D trees to a scene.

Skill Level: Beginner
