The items listed below apply only to the ANSYS CFX products.
Attempting to install the 64-bit version of ANSYS Workbench or ANSYS CFX on a machine with an earlier 32-bit version will result in a startup error with CFX-Mesh. Uninstall the earlier 32-bit versions and only then install the 64-bit version of ANSYS Workbench or ANSYS CFX.
To uninstall the previous release of ANSYS Workbench or ANSYS CFX 32-bit from a Windows 64-bit machine, you must run:
setup.exe -ALLOW32ONX64
