To create a new load history into a project:
Access the Engineering Data application.
Highlight the Load History folder in the Project tree and:
Right-click and select Insert New Load History.
Or...
Click the New button and then select Load History.
Select the desired load history type and select whether the load history is defined as a Table (load vs. time) or a Function.
A new load history entry displays. Rename the new load history.
Based on the how the load history is defined, enter the necessary load data, either:
Tabular Load data - Enter tabular data for the new entry. Another pane displays the graph of the load as a function of time.
Or...
Function - Enter the function, such as 1000*sin(10*time). Please see the Mathematical Functions section for more information.
Return to your simulation or create new load histories, materials, or convections.

You can also insert a specific type of load history, such as Pressure, Temperature, Heat Flux, etc., into a project by selecting the desired load history folder in the Project tree and performing the above steps.
To modify load history data in Engineering Data, simply select the load history item in the Project tree and modify its tabular data or function.

You can create load histories (tables or functions) directly in Simulation. When load histories are created in Simulation they are not added to Engineering Data. You must manually add these load histories to Engineering Data. You may then save the load histories in Engineering Data for future use in other models or analyses.
For information on this topic, see How to Apply Loads in the Simulation Help.
