To show cutting planes:
HyperMesh can show cutting planes through the model, which reveal the results for elements not normally seen in the contour panel. This option can be combined with the iso-surface plotting.
Select cutting plane from the menu on the left side.
Select xy plane, yz plane, or xz plane or any combination and also trim planes.
HyperMesh will display a contour cutting plane through the entire model.

You can also assign a color to the cutting plane, or assign a double plane thickness instead of a single plane. HyperMesh automatically updates the display after each selection.
