To select an element type:

1. Select the elem types panel on the 1-D, 2-D, or 3-D page.

or

Select Element Types from the Mesh pull-down menu.

2. Set the OptiStruct type you want to use for each configuration of element.

These types are used for any new elements created.

3. Click return.
