To plot stress results of a finite element analysis:

1. Select the Post page.

2. Select the contour panel.

3. Click simulation= and select the load step to plot.

4. Click data type= and select the stress type to be displayed.

5. Click contour to see the stress contour on the undeformed structure.

6. Click assign to see each element stress assigned to an element. To get the stress for a specific element, pick on that element.
