The .#.dis.# file is a Patran 2.5 ASCII format results file.

File Creation

This file is created when the APATRAN format is chosen and linear static or inertia relief analyses are performed. (See documentation for the I/O Option FORMAT).

Displacement results from linear static and inertia relief analyses. Output is controlled by the I/O Option DISPLACEMENT.

Comments

  1. One such file is created for each subcase at each iteration where the I/O Option RESULTS requests analytical results to be output.

  2. The first # in the file name is the user-defined Subcase ID.

  3. The second # in the file name is the iteration number.
