To define design variable links:

1. Select the optimization panel on the Analysis page and select the desvar link panel.

or

Select Desvar Link from the Optimization pull-down menu.

2. Enter a name in dvlink = .

3. Select a dependent design variable.

4. Select the independent design variables.

5. Click on designvars.

You enter the list of design variables.

6. Use the check boxes to select the design variables for the given link. You may change the linear factors that are defaulted to 1.0 by editing them.

7. Click return.

8. Enter C0 or CMULT if needed.

9. Click create.
