Note:
HyperMesh automatically assigns a system ID. For cylindrical
and spherical systems, the x-axis defines the radial direction (
= 0) and the xy plane defines the r- plane.
To create a CORD2 coordinate system card:
Ensure that at least three nodes are available to create a coordinate system.
Select the systems panel on the 1D page.
or
Select Coordinate Systems from the Setup pull-down menu.
Select the create CORD2 subpanel.
Select the nodes where you would like a coordinate system to be created.
Pick the node that defines the origin.
Pick the node that defines the x direction.
Pick the node that defines the xy plane.
Select the coordinate system type you want to create: rectangular, cylindrical or spherical.
Click create.
Click return.
