If you used the Compare Documents utility to compare two part documents, you can also compare the faces of the parts.
The Compare faces
option is only available after you run Compare
Documents.
To compare the faces of two parts:
In the Compare Documents: Results dialog box, select Compare faces.
Click Compare.
The results of the face comparison are shown in a tree. Under the heading Face Comparison are Unique Faces and Modified Faces. Select the individual items (nodes) in the tree to highlight the corresponding faces in the graphics area.
Click Options,
Color to change the feature colors.
Select Keep current color on close to preserve the colors of modified and unique faces. If this check box is cleared, the original part colors appear when you close the Compare Documents: Results dialog box.
Save the report, if desired.
After you compare the faces of the two parts, Compare faces is unavailable; you cannot
run the utility again unless you run Compare
Documents again.
