Compare Documents is a utility that compares the properties of two SolidWorks documents (or two configurations of the same document). This utility identifies the following property types:
File properties. Click File, Properties, Summary to view file properties for a SolidWorks document. These properties include Created, Last saved, and so on.
Document-specific properties. Click File, Properties, Custom to view document-specific properties for a SolidWorks document. These properties include Mass, Volume, and so on.
Document properties. Click Tools, Options, Document Properties to view document properties for a SolidWorks document. These properties include Units, Dimensions, and so on.
The results of the Compare Documents utility are summarized in the Compare Documents: Results dialog box.
