The Animation
Controller popup toolbar is displayed when you click Replay
on the Simulation
toolbar, after you create a physical simulation in the SolidWorks application.
It is not displayed with SolidWorks Animator, but most of the tools are
similar to those found on the SolidWorks
Animator toolbar.
Select any of the following animation playback modes located on the Animation Controller pop-up toolbar:
Pause
. Pause the animation. Click Play
to resume.
Rewind
. Return the animation to the previous frame after you
click Pause ![]()
Normal
. Display at normal speed, (default unless you specify
another mode).
Loop
. Display in a continuous loop.
Reciprocate
. Display forward, then reverse in a continuous loop.
Slow
Play
. Display at half-speed.
Fast
Play
. Display at twice the normal speed.
To play an animation:
Click an animation mode to specify the speed, direction, or duration of the playback.
You can select the animation mode from the Animation
Controller pop-up toolbar either before you click Play
or during the animation.
Click
Play
on the Simulation
toolbar.
The Animation Controller pop-up toolbar is displayed.
You can use SolidWorks tools such as Rotate
View
or Pan
on the View toolbar without affecting
the position of the components in the animation. For example,
if you explode an assembly by creating paths with the Animation
Wizard , you can use Rotate View
on the expanded assembly. You can also use viewing tools while the animation
plays.
To save an animation:
Click Play
on the Simulation toolbar.
The Animation Controller pop-up toolbar is displayed.
Click Save
on the Animation Controller
pop-up toolbar.
The Save Animation to File dialog box appears.
