When you click Allow Others to Edit, it enables a meeting participant to request control of the application. As the host, you have the following capabilities:
Initial control over the meeting
Capability to resume control with a single click on the graphics area
If you want to control or enable sharing of applications other than SolidWorks, you can use the NetMeeting Sharing dialog box (see sharing).

To allow others to edit a SolidWorks session:
Make sure that these functions are enabled:
Enable Sharing (see Before Starting a Meeting)
Share SolidWorks
Application
Click Allow Others
to Edit
on the SolidWorks 3D Meeting toolbar or click
Tools, 3D
Meeting, Allow Others to Edit.
After the meeting participant has requested editing capability, in the Request Control dialog box click Accept to allow the meeting participant to edit the application on their computer.
If you click Accept, the meeting participant can edit the model, and your cursor changes to a passive arrow with the your initials.
To regain control as the original host, click anywhere in the
graphics area. Control is returned and your cursor becomes active
