After you define your parameters, you can link one or more parameters to related input fields in your study.
To link a field to a parameter:
In a part or an assembly document, create a parameter compatible with the field to be linked.
Start the associated PropertyManager or the dialog box.
From the drop-down menu of the value field that you want to link to a parameter, select Link Value.
The Parameters list box appears.
To link a material
property field to a parameter of the same type, in the Material
dialog box right-click inside the desired material property Value
field and select Link Values.
You can link parameters for Custom defined
material properties only.
Select a parameter of the same type and click OK.
The value box background color changes into blue, indicating that this field in now linked to the selected parameter.
