Fixed Joint

The fixed joint locks two rigid bodies together so they cannot move with respect to each other.

For a fixed joint, the origin location and orientation of the joint does not affect the outcome of the simulation. We recommend that you place the joint origin at a location where the graphic icon is easily visible.

A real-world example of a fixed joint is a weld that holds two parts together.
