Activate the Support Tool and then right click on it to select the support condition you want to apply.

As with releases in the previous section, you can then click on joints one at a time, or draw a window around groups of joints to apply the supports to the model. If you are creating our example model you will need to add supports to the bottom of all the columns. (We have used rotationally free, translationally fixed supports as you will see from the following captures).
