Generation Tool
You can use the Generate icon to create copies of existing areas of your structure quickly and easily.

Example: In the capture above, the left two bays of the structure that we generated previously are selected.
Note: Notice the current co-ordinate system base point, this is the reference point for the copied data. 3. Press the Copy icon () to copy the selected objects to the clipboard. You will see that they also change color to remind you that they are copied to the clipboard.
Note: The default color that S-Frame uses for copied objects is dark red, but you can change this to any color you like using 4. Now click on any other joint or grid intersection to paste the clipboard contents into your structure at that point.

Example: In the capture above, the copied data has been generated by clicking on the indicated joint.
Note: As an alternative you can place a single or multiple copies of the information on the clipboard at locations you specify using the Replicate Clipboard Tool which you can get by right clicking the Generate icon.
