To delete objects

1. Select the objects that you wish to delete using any selection method.

Help: For further information see Using the Select menu.

2. Click the Delete icon ( ) from the Edit toolbar or click Edit / Delete. This will delete all the selected objects1 without placing them on the Windows clipboard.

1There is one important exception, If you have a joint which is selected, but which connects to a member which is not selected, then that joint will not be deleted since it is required by the member which is not selected.
