A mixture of immiscible fluid components where each component constitutes a distinct phase. To define such a mixture:
- Open the Fluid Mixture node. This contains two sub-nodes, Mixture Properties and Phases.
- Open the Mixture Properties node which defines the bulk properties of the mixture. The calculation method for key properties such Density and Dynamic Viscosity is set by default to and does not normally need to be changed.
- Open the Phases node and define individual mixture components by selecting appropriate phase material names and properties.
