This is a boundary condition on stagnation inlet and pressure outlet boundaries. It is only available when the Coupled Flow model, Ideal Gas model, Steady model, and Two-Dimensional or Three-Dimensional model are enabled. It is only appropriate to use this option on boundaries of linearly (two-dimensional) or rotationally (three-dimensional) periodic problems in which the flow normal to the non-reflecting boundary remains subsonic. In three-dimensional simulations the boundary must be a surface of revolution. Furthermore, the boundary mesh must be a structured, mapped mesh of quadrilateral faces. In the event these conditions are not satisfied an error will be generated during pre-processing of the boundary mesh prior to application of the non-reflecting boundary condition procedure.

Note:
No additional nodes appear in the Values node when this option is ticked. However, there are some restrictions as to which methods are appropriate for specifying other boundary values. The table below indicates which methods can be used with which boundary values when this option is ticked.
