Performance Index

You should measure the performance of your design in order to analyze the results of design study. A Performance Index is defined as a function expression.

 Steps to create Performance Index

1. Click the Performance Index from the Subentity menu.

The Performance index dialog box appears as follows:

• Add : Adds the row.
• Insert : Inserts the row.
• Delete : Deletes the row.

 

2. Click the Add button.
3. Input the Performance Index name.
4. Choose a type such as End value, Average value, Min value, Max value, Min ABS value, Max ABS value, RMS value.
5. Click the expression list (EL) button for select or create a function expression. The Expression List dialog box will appear as shown below.

6. Select or create a function expression that describes the of Performance Index of your model
7. Click OK button to close the Expression List dialog box.
8. Check Use Time Period and Fill Start, End.

Performance Index is reported from Start to End time only if Time Period is checked.

9. Click OK button to close the Performance Index List dialog box.
