Geometry - Create Curve - Project Normal to Surface

Select filtering is set to 1D geometry entities

Select curve is displayed in the status bar until you select a 1D geometry entity. The 1D geometry entity is added to the selected entity set.

Select filtering is set to 2D geometry entities

Select surface is displayed in the status bar until you select a 2D geometry entity. The 2D geometry entity is added to the selected entity set.

When the selected entity set contains one curve and one surface a new curve is created by projecting the original curve along the surface normal onto the surface. The new curve is highlighted.
