File >> Save As Default MDL

• File >> Save As Default MDL command saves the current work as a new default model file.

• rapidform application saves user's settings, including all Preferences and material colors, in a default MDL file (rfDefaultModel.mdl) in the DefaultModel folder under its root directory. When you launch rapidform, the parameters of the default model file are automatically loaded. After changing preferences or material colors, you can save your own default model file by selecting File > Save as Default MDL.   Then rapidform will launch using the settings from the default file. The directory of default MDL can be changed within File > Preferences. (Note: The default model file's settings apply to any New or Imported models, but if you Open a MDL file, its settings will override the default MDL¡¯s.)

Step  

Execute the File >> Save As Default MDL command as follows:

1. Click File >> Save As Default MDL from the main menu.



2. Select entities you want to save, then click OK.

3. When Save as default MDL file dialog box appears on the screen, choose a directory, input a new file name and click Save.
