Base Profile >> Sketch Curve >> Extend/Shorten

• Base Profile >> Sketch Curve >> Extend/Shorten command changes the size of the selected sketch curves.

Step

Execute Base Profile >> Sketch Curve >> Extend/Shorten command as follows:

1. Select Base Profile >> Sketch Curve >> Extend/Shorten from the menu or click the corresponding icon on the Feature toolbar.

2. Right-click to pop up the following menu:

If Sketch Curves, the default option, is selected, a user can drag-select the sketch curves to be extended/shortened; if All Sketch Curves, all the sketch curves are automatically selected.

Align To Screen, the default option, automatically aligns the base section on the screen.

3. Select sketch curves to be extended/shortened.

4. Adjust the slide bar in the Extend/Shorten Sketch Curves dialog box. Sliding to the right means extending, to the left means shortening. Also a user can change the amount of extend/shorten by inputting a value in the Extend box.

5. Click OK to execute this command.

Note  

• While sliding the bar, the selected sketch curves are extended/shortened in real time.

• The intersection point between two sketch curves is in yellow color.
