Bulid >> Dither Points
Bulid >> Dither Points command makes point sampling by texture dithering.
It results in more dense point cloud over bright region and more coarse point cloud over dark region.
Step
- Execute Bulid >> Dither Points command as follows:
- 1. Select Bulid >> Dither Points from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Build toolbar.
- 2. Pick a shell to dither points.
- 3. Following dialogue should be appeared.
- Brightness option : adjust brightness of texture. Brightness affects the point density globally
Brightness Slide : adjust of contrast of texture. The more user increase the contrast, the contrast on the texture image gets bigger, which
results in more dense point cloud over bright region and more coarse point cloud over dark region.
Dithering Method option : rapidform provided with 5 dithering method Javis, Floyd-Steinberg, Cierra, Burkes, Stucki
Quality of this 5 option is not different with each other, so select proper option as Preview.
Preview option : If user check Preview option, user can verify dithering result in realtime.
Dither Texture : Dither texture by user selected option.
- 4. Select OK to sampling points. selected shell will be sampled into point shell with no polygon.
