Cut Off Dies
Cut Off Dies allow the blank shape to be fit
inside of a standard shape. The five standard shapes that are available in
FormingSuite are:

Rectangle,
-
Miter,
-
Parallelogram,
-
Trapezoid, and
-
Chevron
By right clicking on the Cut Off Dies
branch you can either:
- Delete the Cut Off Die results,
- Edit the Property (name of the branch),
- View the CPU solving team for the Cut Off Die
results by selecting Info,
- Expand the Cut Off Dies branch to display
all Cut Off Die results by selecting Show Details,
- Show Table of the Cut Off Die
calculations, or
- Show Chart of the results from the
calculations.
By expanding the Cut Off Dies
branch, each of the cut off die is listed with its material utilization, as well
as just the cut off die shape. By
right clicking, you can either:
- Delete the Cut Off Die shape from the
Feature Tree,
- Edit the Property (name of the branch),
- View the Info about the Cut Off Die
shape,
- Export the Cut Off Die shape to IGES or
DXF file format,
- Plot the Cut Off Die shape, or
- Generate a Feature Report of the Cut Off Die
nesting results.
