Star Field Glow
Haze and the Color Perspective directly affect the color of the glow around the stars. This allows you to find some really neat effects in the sky.
To add a glow around the stars, set up the star field as shown in the previous pages, then do the following:
- Delete the ground plane.
- On the Sun & Moon tab, set the Star Intensity to a fairly high amount, between 60 and 100, and the Amount to a very large number.

- Make sure that Sun/Moon Shadows are enabled and set the Ambient and Sky Dome colors to white.

- Change to the Atmosphere tab, then disable Fog and enable Haze and Color Perspective. Set the Haze color to white. Drag over the RGB buttons to adjust the colors. You'll need to know what the RGB settings are for the color you want, which you can get from some of the available color pickers.
The Sky Preview should now look something like this:

- Click on the OK icon to close the Sky Lab.
- Double-click on the Trackball to open the Camera & 2D Projection dialog. Change the settings as shown below.

- Click on the OK icon to close the dialog.
- Render the scene.

- Adjust the Haze settings and Color Perspective colors to get a different view.

- Render to see the differences.

- Adjust the camera settings to similar settings shown below to get a "warp speed" effect.

- Render to see the results.

Thanks to Clay Hagebusch for showing how to get this effect.
