Duplicate

The Duplicate command duplicates the selected object(s) and places the copy directly into the scene. The duplicate is not placed on the clipboard so it cannot be pasted into the scene later.

If the selected object is part of a group, then the new object will also be part of the group. If you don't want the new object to be part of the group, use Copy/Paste instead.

To Duplicate an object(s) or group(s):

1. Select the object(s) or group(s) you want to duplicate.
2. Choose Edit > Duplicate from the menu or press Ctrl+D.
