Changing Marker Options

The default line color for the Marker Pen is red with the line being fairly thin, however, sometimes the color and/or thickness of the line needs to be different (for example, when explaining how to do something). Bryce provides a small palette with color swatches and a line bar where these options can be modified.

The change the Line Color and Size of the Marker Pen:

  1. Click the Marker Pen tool or press the M key.

  2. Right-click+hold on the Marker Pen tool again. The Marker Palette will come up in the top left-hand corner of the Bryce window.

  3. While still holding down the right mouse button, drag the marker pen up to the palette and place the Marker cursor over the color swatch you want to use.
  4. Let up on the mouse, then left-click+hold and drag the marker anywhere on your Bryce screen.
  5. Repeat to change the marker thickness but drag over the Line Thickness bar to increase or decrease the size.

Remember that the marker lines disappear once you deselect the Marker Pen tool so if you want to save the sketches you made, you'll need to make a screen capture and paste it into your paint program.
