Add Colors to Gradient

The default Gradient has two color nodes which is usually sufficient for most renders, however, sometimes you need more colors, especially if the Range of the Light has been increased.

To add Colors to a Gradient:

  1. Make sure that one of the Color Nodes is selected, then click the Add (+) button next to the Gradient control.

A new color node appears below the center of the Gradient control.

  2. Click the Color Swatch, and choose a color from the color picker.

The Gradient Preview will update to show the new color.

  3. If needed, drag the Color Node left or right to position it or click in the Location field and enter a number.

  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to add other colors.

  5. Click on OK to exit the dialog then on the OK icon in the Light Lab to return to the Bryce Working Window.
