How this Manual is Set Up
Introduction to Bryce
A quick introduction to the main Bryce interface starts off this manual with an overview of the different palettes, labs, and, tools.
Reference Section
The next part of the manual is a reference section that goes through every menu, palette, lab, and dialog to show how to use each function. Plenty of examples are provided as well.
Commands, along with names of dialogs, menus, palettes, fields, and labs are in bold text so they can be easily located on each page.
Shortcut and modifier keys are also in bold, with both Macintosh and PC commands shown. The Mac command is always shown first, followed by a slash. When the command is the same, only one is shown.
For example: Cmd/Ctrl+N, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+A, Ctrl+Opt/Alt+M
Commands are also given in all capital letters.
For example: I, not i; L, not l
Practical Application
The third part of the manual provides some practical applications for some of the basic functions discussed in the reference section.
Appendices
The appendices provide quick access to a listing of all shortcut keys and modifiers, an acronym listing, glossary, known issues (see below), and a few troubleshooting items.
Known Issues
Next to some items in the manual, there may be an "(Issue)" tag which indicates that there is a known issue with the feature. Click on the link to go to the Known Issues listing for that feature.
