Save Image As

The Save Image As command allows you to save the rendered image out of Bryce. This allows you to save out a series of images of a scene as it is built for use in tutorials or for compositing in a paint program (i.e., object, distance, and altitude masks).

You can export images to the file formats listed below:

To save the current rendered image:

  1. Render the scene.
  2. Choose File > Save Image As from the menu. The Save As dialog comes up.
  3. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the file, then enter a filename for the image.

  4. Select a file type from the Save as type field. The default format is JPEG, however, for production work, the Bryce JPEG format is not recommended. Use BMP, PSD, or TIFF instead.

  5. If you select JPEG, select a compression value from the Compression field.

  6. Click on Save to save the image to your computer.
