Save Image As
The Save Image As command allows you to save the rendered image out of Bryce. This allows you to save out a series of images of a scene as it is built for use in tutorials or for compositing in a paint program (i.e., object, distance, and altitude masks).
You can export images to the file formats listed below:
- Windows Bitmap (.bmp)
- JPEG (.jpg)
- Photoshop (.psd)
- PICT (.pct) (Mac only)
- TIFF (.tif)
To save the current rendered image:
- Render the scene.
- Choose File > Save Image As from the menu. The Save As dialog comes up.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to save the file, then enter a filename for the image.

- Select a file type from the Save as type field. The default format is JPEG, however, for production work, the Bryce JPEG format is not recommended. Use BMP, PSD, or TIFF instead.

- If you select JPEG, select a compression value from the Compression field.

- Click on Save to save the image to your computer.
