Open Image
The Open Image command allows you to open an image in Bryce in one of the following image types:
- CompuServe® GIF (.gif)
- DIB (*.dib) - Device Independent Bitmap
- Enhanced Metafile (.emf)
- FPix (*.fpi) - FlashPix Bitmap
- FPX (*.fpx) - FlashPix Bitmap
- JP2 (*.jp2) - JPEG-2000 JP2 File
- JPE (*.jpe) - JPEG/JIFF Image
- JPEG (.jpg)
- Photoshop® (.psd)
- PIC (*.pic)
- PICT (Mac only)
- PNG (*.png)
- Targa (.tga)
- TIFF (.tif)
- Windows Bitmap (.bmp)
This is useful for loading an image to use as a modeling template or to add additional elements to a previous render without re-rendering the entire scene.
To open an image:
- Choose File > Open Image from the menu. The Open File dialog will come up.
- Navigate to the folder where the image is located, select it, and click on Open.
The image will be loaded into the scene.
