Adjusting Current Noise
To adjust the current noise mode:
- Display the Noise palette and select which component to adjust by clicking in one of the indentations.

- Move the mouse over the red ball in the Frequency slider. The cursor changes to a double-ended arrow.

- Left-click on the ball and drag right to increase the noise.
If you reach the end of the slider and the noise is still not enough, let up on the ball and it will return to the center (or 0). The new setting becomes the baseline and you can drag the ball again to increase the noise frequency even more.
- Left-click on the ball and drag left to decrease the noise.
If you reach the start of the slider and the noise is still not enough, let up on the ball and it will return to the center (or 0). The new setting becomes the baseline and you can drag the ball again to decrease the noise frequency even more.
- You can also click on the arrows at each end of the Noise Frequency slider to adjust the frequency without having to let up on the mouse continually, however, the numeric indicator will always show 1 or -1.
