Loading Pictures

You can load any two pictures from your system. You can also paste images from the Clipboard.

To load pictures,

1. Click the Load text button above the picture box into which you want to load the picture.
   
   
2. The Open dialog will come up. Locate the image you want to load, select it, and click on Open.
   
   
3. From the Picture button in the Elevation tab, hold down the Opt/Alt key to load the picture's color data directly into the 3D Preview. This allows you to see the interaction between the picture and the grayscale-to-height interpretation of its luminance values. The color data is only for viewing purposes and will not render with the terrain. (Issue)

To copy and paste a picture into the Picture tab:

1. In another application, copy the picture you want to use to the Clipboard.
2. In the Picture tab, click the Paste text button below the picture box where you want the picture to appear. When you use Cmd/Ctrl+V to paste from the Clipboard, the picture always appears in the first square.
