Modify a toolpath or procedure by a previously saved template.
Notes:
When a toolpath is modified by a template, the procedures defined in the template are added to the existing toolpath.
When a procedure is modified by a template, the procedure defined in the template replaces the existing procedure.

To modify a toolpath by a template:
In the Process Manager, select the toolpath to be modified.
Select NC-Utilities / Template / Modify in the main menu.
The NC Template dialog is displayed. In this dialog:
Browse to the directory in which the required template file is saved.
Select the template.
Press OK

The procedures defined in the template are added to the existing toolpath and the status flag of the toolpath changes.
To modify a procedure by a template:
In the Process Manager, select the procedure to be modified.
Select NC-Utilities / Template / Modify in the main menu.
The NC Template dialog is displayed. In this dialog:
Browse to the directory in which the required template file is saved.
Select the template.
Press OK .
The procedure defined in the template replaces the existing procedure and the status flag of the toolpath and new procedure changes.
Note: A Simple version of this dialog can be displayed by using the Preferences. Navigate to Tools/Preferences/NC/Environment/Dialogs and select Template - Procedure & Toolpath = Simple. In this case, some of the fields in the dialog are not displayed, and all the templates in the default Template folder (C:\Cimatron\CimatronE\Data\Templates\ENC\Inch or MM) are automatically displayed. The shortened dialog is the default NC-Lite option.
