A Procedure is a set of cutter movements that conform to a specific technology. One or several Procedures can comprise a toolpath. A procedure can be created from a template, or from within Cimatron E as described below.
Note: Depending on your milling needs, you may need to create a Stock and Part before you create milling / drilling procedures.
How to Create a Procedure
If you have not already done so, create a Toolpath that will contain the procedure.
Choose the location for the procedure by selecting the toolpath or procedure after which the new procedure will be placed. Example:
Click the
icon in the NC
Guide. The Procedure Guide is displayed.
Other ways to create a procedure:

cutter, and geometry.
The way the dialogs are displayed, depends on which NC
Work Mode you are using, .Wizard Mode or Advanced
Mode.
In Wizard
Mode, to scroll between
procedure dialogs use the appropriate
button on the wizard

In Advanced Mode, all parameter tables are constantly displayed on the screen. When creating or editing a procedure, each parameter table is available for editing, there is no need to open and close individual tables.
