Trochoidal

When slotting, instead of reducing the feed rate, the cutter moves in a trochoidal movement at nominal speed.

When Trochoidal is selected, the Trochoidal Pitch parameter is displayed.

Note: When Trochoidal and Multi Z are both defined, Trochoidal has the priority. Multi Z is automatically activated whenever trochoidal does not satisfy the geometrical conditions.

Examples:

Trochoidal: Off

Trochoidal: On
