Use the forward and backward browse arrows to scroll between the contours that have already been added to the contour list. The selected contour will be highlighted, and the contour number will appear in the Parameters for Contour box.

Once the desired contour is highlighted, you can either modify it or unselect it. See the note below the Contour dialog.
