The selection of various geometric entities may be required to execute a 5X Aerospace procedure. The type of geometric entity to be selected, depends on the machining strategy selected in the Tool Trajectory dialog under the Finish tab.

Tilt lines |
Nurbs |
0-not limited |
Similar to Part Surfaces, however, in the Selection Filter, only Lines are pickable. These lines must be predefined from the cutter tip to the spindle. Important: To ensure the correct tool orientation, the direction of the tilt lines is most important. The start point of the lines should be at the cutter tip and the end point should be towards the spindle. |

Note: In the 5X Aerospace procedure, some faces can be defined as both Drive and Check Surfaces.
