Electrode Setup Wizard

Create a new electrode folder. The Electrode Set-Up Wizard dialog is displayed:

1. Click on the open document icon and open the Part or Assembly document for which you wish to create an electrode (mold component).

The Assembly Name and Folder Name for the electrode are automatically created, based on the Name Generator fields defined in the Electrode Preferences.

To import a file from a different file format, click on the icon. The Import dialog is displayed.

2. Set the working document name.

If the Create New Folder checkbox is turned on - a new folder will be created under the folder which holds the master document. The working document will be created inside that folder.

Set the new folder name. If the new folder is to be placed under a different folder - click the browse button to select that parent folder.

3. Define the units of measurement for the document.

4. Click the Preferences Editor button to set the Electrode Preferences, if required.

Press the appropriate confirmation button:

to exit the dialog

to accept the data in the dialog and continue with the electrode creation:

• A new folder is created in the Cimatron E Explorer and a new assembly is created in it.

• The assembly document is opened and the Electrode Guide is displayed on the right side of the screen.

• The component document is added to the assembly.
