Access: In the Electrode
Tree, right-click the
Electrode
and then
select EDM Setup
to display the EDM Setup dialog.
The EDM Setup Electrode Parameters are as follows:

Electrode Name |
Name of the electrode and its number as it appears in the Electrode Tree. |

Material |
Component material. Options are Copper, Graphite, None. |
|
Rough, Pre-Finish, Finish, Polish: |
Number of electrodes for each operation required for the job. |

Orbiting Type |
Either 2D, 3D or None. Press the Edit button to
display the Orbiting Type Edit List.
Select an orbiting type or enter a new material and press OK

Orbiting Size |
How much the electrode rotates. |
|
Spark Gap |
The distance between the electrode and the workpiece when discharges are occurring. |
|
Offset |
Orbiting size plus the spark gap. |
The Add/Remove Parameters button enables you to control the display of parameters on the EDM Setup dialog.
