Drawings from templates can be created in the Part and Assembly environments. They are created in batch mode without opening the drafting application (or activating the existing drawing). The function is accessed from the model/assembly main menu.
The process of creating a template from a model consists of exporting a Part or Assembly document to the Drafting environment.
