This options heals the problematic faces found after running Check & Fix Entities.
This enables you to improve performance when working on these faces.
The entity goes through a series of corrections which do not involve changes in the geometry (for example, removal of duplicate vertices). When the geometrical corrections are needed, the entity's geometry is rebuilt, based on the parametric data, excluding the following cases, in which the Local Heal modeling function is used:
The face concerned is not on a spline surface.
The face was imported using the parameter Trimming processing - with the option Use Geometric Curve.
The parametric data was found to be incorrect.
Note: The Fix Entities parameter in the import dialog and the Fix invalid entities parameter in the Check & Fix Entities function, work in different ways. The import function will produce an identical representation of the imported component whereas the Check & Fix Entities function is under no such constriction. For example, in the case of a sliver face (a face that is too small or too narrow), the Fix Entities in the import function will keep the face from the original format and convert it into the target format. The Check & Fix Entities function, however, will regard the sliver face as a small face and remove it.
