Depending on the cut tolerance you have more or less points. Especially on round surfaces, you have more points because the toolpath always changes the direction. To get more points even on the flat surfaces you can use the distance option. Although the cut tolerance is the same you get more points on straight or flat surfaces. Setting a small value gives more points, a high value less points.
