Stair Tools

Select Build> Stairs to access the Stair Tools.

Straight Stairs

To draw a straight staircase select Build> Stairs> Straight Stairs, then click and drag in floor plan or a 3D view .

Click Stairs

Select Build> Stairs>

Click Stairs to create stairs between levels on the same floor with a single click of the mouse. Click the low side, within a few feet of where the floor changes height.

Curved Stairs

Select Build> Stairs> Curve to Left or Curve to Right and click once in floor plan view to place a curved staircase. For more information about creating curved stairs, see "Creating Curved Stairs".
