Description This command is used to generate a report listing information about the active component in the current document.

Use After launching the command, an ASCII text file is generated and opened as the active document in the main design window.

The file includes the component name and the number of parts contained in the component. For each part, the pin details are given for each of the graphical representations (Normal and any Alternates), where applicable.

Notes The first part in the list is part zero. This part is usually used for multi-part components, as a method of declaring the power pins for all individual parts in a single place. Part zero cannot be seen graphically in the Schematic Library Editor, but rather pins are assigned to it in the Component Pin Editor dialog.

The report is generated using the name of the active library document (i.e. LibraryName.CMP), is stored in the same location as the library document and is added to the Projects panel as a free document, under the Text Files sub-folder.
