(Toolbar) : Formatting

Description This feature allows you to change the color used for the selected design object, where applicable.

Use First, ensure that the object whose color you wish to change is selected in the main design window.

Use the drop-down to choose from a list of predefined colors that you wish to apply to the selected design object. As you scroll through and choose different colors from the list, the corresponding color for the object will change accordingly.

Click the ... button to the right of the drop-down, to open the Choose Color dialog, from where you can choose from a further range of basic colors, or create your own customized color.

Notes This feature will only be available if applicable to the currently selected object. When multiple design objects are selected, only those formatting features common to all, will be available for use. Therefore, in order to effectively change the formatting attribute of a group of selected objects, make sure they all support that formatting feature.

The color that this formatting feature applies to depends on the design object that the change is being applied to. For example, border color, text color and line color are all changed using this feature.
