To stretch a slope:
Click in the center of the slope. The central arrow is displayed, and grab handles are displayed at either end of it.
Click and drag an end grab handle to stretch the arrow, then release your mouse button. Note that you can also rotate the arrow by selecting a different position for it while clicking and dragging. This changes the direction of the slope.
